Frequently Asked Questions

  • Under the age of 18.
  • Allergic to anesthesia, pigmentation, or makeup.
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Diabetic.
  • Taking blood thinning medication.
  • On Accutane or taking steroid medications.
  • Currently being treated with radiotherapy or chemotherapy in the last 12 months.
  • Anyone with skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, or rosacea (on or near the brow area)
  • Prone to keloids or hypertrophic scarring.
  • Anyone with a healing disorder.
  • Hemophiliac.
  • If you have an open wound on and around the brow area.
  • Epileptic or have experienced fainting often.


Majority of clients experience minimal to no pain. A topical anesthetic is applied throughout the procedure for your comfort.


4 Weeks Prior Your Appointment:

  • No botox.
  • No microneedling, microdermabrasion, chemical peel, or any skin peeling facial.
  • Let your brows grow out. (4 weeks preferably, if not it’s okay)

2 Weeks Prior Your Appointmen:

  • No harsh skin care such as Retin-A, Trentin-A, retinols, or vitamin A.
  • No acids or exfoliates. (AHAs, BHAs, glycolic or salicylic acid, etc.)

1 Week Prior Your Appointment:

  • No sunbathing or tanning.
  • No facial oils on forehead area or around the brows.

24 Hours Prior Your Appointment:

  • No caffeine, alcohol, or blood thinners. (Ex. Coffee, energy drinks, pain killers, omega 3s, etc.)



Day of (After Procedure):

  • After the procedure gently blot the area with a clean paper towel to absorb excess lymph fluid. Do this until the oozing stops.

Cleanse (Day 1-10):

  • Gently wash your brows morning and night with a unscented antibacterial soap.
  • Avoid cleansing products with acids and exfoliants.

Hydrate (Day 3-10):

  • Apply a tiny, rice grain amount of ointment (A&D or Aqauphor) on each brow.
  • Do not over apply as this will suffocate your skin and delay healing.
  • If you have dry to normal skin apply ointment twice a day.
  • If you have combination skin apply ointment once a day.
  • If you have oily skin do not apply any ointment.

10 Days is an average. Depending on how your skin takes it, it can take longer or less to heal.




  • Redness and swelling is completely normal and can last up to 3 days depending on your skin.
  • After procedure your brows will be dark. Your brows will continue to get darker the following days as they start and continue to scab.
  • Dryness, tightness, and itching. Do not scratch or pick at your brows.
  • No color underneath the scabs/ color loss during scabbing is normal. The color will surface in a couple of weeks
  • Color loss or color changes.

Scabbing phase last about 10 days and it takes about 4 weeks for your brows to fully heal. It is important to book your touch up appointment 6 weeks after your initial appointment to address any changes or adjustment.


  • Do not pick at your scabs. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate away.
  • No Botox until 4 weeks after.
  • No facials, chemical treatments, or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.
  • Avoid sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks.
  • Avoid swimming for 2 weeks.
  • Avoid sweaty exercise for 10 days.
  • Avoid saunas and steam rooms for 10 days.
  • Avoid long hot steamy showers for 10 days.
  • Avoid make up, lotion, sunscreen, etc. on the brow area for 10 days.
